I am always somewhat trepidatious when I hear that one of my favorite books is being made into a movie. Sometimes I enjoy them, sometimes, I can’t help but think I wish they’d left it alone. No matter – the anticipation is something I wouldn’t do without. Here are book to movie adaptations to watch in 2016.

Based on a novel by JoJo Moyes, this is an emotional but surprisingly hilarious story about a young woman who takes on the job of caring for a paralyzed man. As their relationship grows, it gradually turns from professional to personal with plenty of highs and lows along the way.
